We have a selection of must-have German healthcare apps. We do not review just any healthcare app out there but limit ourselves to the most relevant and local apps.
Some of these apps only make sense if you are enrolled in the German health care system and are either insured with one of the German public or private health insurers. All the apps in this article are free.
Doctolib app - easy online doctor appointments
Doctolib is developed by a Berlin start-up and is the must-have app to make appointments with doctors in Germany. Unfortunately, their website and the app are in the German language only but it is really easy to make appointments. This app will save you a lot of time that you have to spend on the phone to make doctor appointments in Germany.
Just enter the medical specialization you are looking for in the form on the Doctolib homepage and reserve an appointment in the calendar.
